What would be some appropriate questions to ask the panel at the end of the congressional nomination interviews?

Answer 1: Whatever you want to know that you think they can answer regarding the nomination.

Answer 2: I would expect that THEY would expect you to have academy questions already answered elsewhere.

Just one man's two cents.

Agree with answer2!

Whatever you do, be organic. Not canned. Prepared questions often come off as just that. It’s fine to NOT have questions….if you don’t. Imo, a well prepared candidate would be just that, prepared, and may not have any questions.

But, I would make sure that’s the case, and let them know “ma’am, sir, I honestly have an understanding of the process, and don’t have any questions that havent already been addressed”, or something that acknowledges you understand. Vs a plain ‘ole ‘nope’.

No need to fill their precious minutes with fluff. BUT don’t hesitate to ask a question if you have one, or request a clarification of a point.

If they haven’t already addressed it, asking “when should I expect to hear either way” is a fair one.

I’m not on an MOC committee….those are standard interviewing courtesies, imo.
