Hi y'all,

I have some questions regarding the Academy application process. What are the chances that a girl would be looked at over the guys? I know a lot of the population at the Academies are men and that is one thing that's been floating around in my head. Also, what is a "comfortable amount" of pushups, sit-ups, pull-ups, to get for a girl taking the fitness test? Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Hopeful Junior Girl :)

Admissions have been gender blind for at least 15 years so there is no "advantage" to being female.

You can find the max for the CFA on the USNA website. If you aren't doing the max, there's room for improvement. No one really knows what's good or "good enough." The closer you get to the max, the better off you are.

I didn't believe there was a advantage to being a female. I only knew of the male to female ratio, the male was more populated. Thank you!

If you max out the CFA, the test stops there.

That said, don't just train for the CFA.
