My DS is part of the upcoming class of 2023. We have read the information provided, but we still have a question. To arrange his travel to R-day, he filled in his information on the portal and later received an email from CWT travel with his itinerary. On the itinerary it says something to the effect of “in order for tickets to be issued, fax orders to #...”. Will he be issued travel orders that we then need to give to CWT prior to travel? Does USMA provide those orders directly to CWT? Is this just generic wording on all itineraries and the Academy works this out behind the scenes since they arranged the travel? Do we need to call CWT and pay for this and later get reimbursed?
I would hate to get to the airport and find out he doesn’t have a ticket because we missed a step. Thanks.
