Recommendations for ROTC scholarship

Do you need recommendations from teachers for the ROTC scholarship? Asking for a friend because I cant remember if my kids had recs for ROTC or if the recs were for SAs.

Short answer is yes. I believe they send a questionnaire to your English, Math, and one other teacher or coach.

When I filled it out, I didn't see any requirements for Letter of Recs in the AROTC scholarship. I think you could send them in but it just recommended to strengthen.

If it helps understand the process, please see the attached. This version is from May of last year and pretty sure it matches the one online. But applicants should always follow the one on the website. Page 4 discusses the 3 required letters and a reminder that a physics teacher cannot write a letter for the math recommendation.
