Will the naval academy deny you if you don't have an advanced regents diploma and only a regents diploma??

The Regents Exams are limited to the state of New York, so it would be difficult or impossible for USNA to create state-specific requirements like this. They also get a wide variety of kids with a wide variety of high-school completion credentials, from home-schooled to public and private schools to elite boarding schools. You just need to have a high school diploma (and meet other eligibility requirements) in order to compete for an appointment.

That said, make sure you are taking four years of math and English during your HS years - as advanced as you can. Take as much science as you can, too.

Thank you very much for explaining this to me! I will keep taking challenging classes as well.
