On my West Point file it shows, "FILE DISQUALIFICATION." I opened the file and it showed a letter saying they cannot offer me an admission. As much as it breaks my heart, I will still continue ROTC in college. The letter does not show why was not admitted. Do you think I can ask admissions, in case I wish to reapply next year??

First, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you this time, and I love that you have a rebound attitude.

It reflects well on you to ask your RC how you can improve your application. It shows you want to improve, and want to reapply, and you can let them know your Plan B is ROTC, which shows your willingness to serve. Also, as I'm sure you know, take a plebe-like schedule and excel, stay fit, and establish a rapport with your professors and CADRE as well as your ROTC leadership. Make sure you have new candidate statements and essays. You might get some really good material from this experience, despite how it feels today.
