Dodmerb requested AMI's for DS. One of them is:

R222.40 --- REQUIRES A PHYSICIAN'S APPOINTMENT: PHYSICIAN INSTRUCTIONS: Please obtain and forward a Board Certified Radiologist's written interpretation of a NEW radiologic examination of spine; scoliosis/kyphosis study, including at a minimum, a report on a 2-view AP (not PA) and Lateral study to determine the degree of scoliosis and kyphosis. If the lateral view shows no abnormal kyphosis or lordosis, the interpretation should be so noted. The Board Certified Radiologist must use the Cobb method to determine the degree of scoliosis and kyphosis.

We are currently in the Middle East, so we had a local hospital do this for us. We submitted the x-ray report On Sunday through email like we were told. By Monday, we got a message on the Dodmerb website asking for the same thing.

The x-ray report noted that DS Cobbs' angle measures 9.5 degrees

I'm curious as to whether anyone has had any experience where their X-ray report is returned to be redone. I'm not sure what they are asking us to do. Is the report not sufficient, the wrong doctor, we have no idea as there is no explanation on what we need to correct. Will it be all alright to call the Case Manager assigned to us to ask these questions?

Definitely reach out to the case manager. Be sure to ask specific questions referencing the AMI code and asking what you need to submit in addition to what was already submitted. We found that DD's case manager changed midstream and documentation that had already been submitted didn't seem to be updated until emailing with new case manager. The case manager(s) seem to be responsive in our experience...

Yes, I've emailed our case manager and waiting to hear back! Thanks!
