I just want to tip my hat to anyone who’s going through this a second time. The wait is tough. I admire your determination!
And as a side note:
What’s up with the kitten eating a strawberry @blinkus? I understand the military isn’t the Third Army that my father served in under General Patton, but a pussycat eating fruit?
I need an explanation and I’m sure others do too.

hahah it's not my photo, i found it off of twitter (now X?) i had no idea what to use as a photo when signing up for SAF, so I just decided to use the kitten eating a strawberry because of convenience. I thought of switching it before, but whenever I see that photo, I get reminded of SAF. can't change it now haha

Hello! Good morning to all beautiful folks of this forum! Wow its Day 52! SA Portals are still frozen for my DS. Seems there have been quite a lot of appointments this week. Congratulations to all newly appointed candidates and their proud parents! For those of us who are still hoping, praying and waiting, day by day it gets shorter and shorter so the hard wait will soon be over. DS is so happy with his Plan B fully in place. Cheers to another day of waiting.

It’s so hard as the momma isn’t it? I just would love the option for him to get AFA or N. Seems like the opportunity is shrinking.

Yes, i think its driving us momma's more crazy than our DS/DD. Haha. I do fluctuate from being hopeful to being depressed from time to time as DS haven't heard yet from all 3 SAs while I think bulk of the appointments might be out. Anyway, nothing we can do but to hope, pray and wait.

NB. Today my DS checked his portal and was surprised to see the Received by USNA Date for BGO interview was updated to 3/23. So I think his file is now being reviewed and hopefully we'll hear soon.
