Reporting Drug Use Question

Been through the application process more than once and have been told what I shared. There are much more qualified applicants than there are slots available. I am sure there have been those that admitted to drug use and have been appointed but it's one less thing to worry about if you didn't delve in it-experimental or not.

I can certainly agree with that statement. Every case will be treated differently and individually. What might get by one year may not get by the next.

I want to thank everyone who offered me advice!

One more question:
If I am accepted into the Academy, will I be denied the chance to become a fighter pilot? My goal in life is to become a military astronaut. I am wondering if you guys think my marijuana experimentation would automatically disqualify me from this path.

Again, thanks everyone!

The main reason you would not be able to be a pilot (besides a medical problem) is if you do not qualify for a top secret clearance.

In my experience, MJ is not a reason to be disqualified.
