Results from Feb. review board.....

Waiting on the February NROTC boards, not sure when they are, anybody?
 
i'm kinda wondering myself. sent in all the stuff in early JAN

LOL... I would tend to agree.. My DD's DoDmerb physical was completed in September, Her app to CGA started August 2008, DoDmerb DQ'd 10/17/08.. This already has been a 4 month wait, just for that DoDmerb....
 
Okay, app and DODMERB qualified by AUGUST, got scholarship on 2-13. I think NROTC boards were last week and again the end of next week. "The waiting is the hardest part". Good luck to all.
 
Not sure which ROTC board chopper1 is referring to, but I was just the letter in the mail on Tuesday offering me a NRTOC scholarship. I believe AFROTC meets next week. Not sure about the others.
 
Army board has met already.. I got an email from my second choice school congratulating me. I am just waiting for #1 school and DODMERB. My status just changed to "Check your medical status on the DODMERB website" today.

WOOOHOOOO!
 
My status also changed today, but I haven't received an e-mail yet. Does it mean I got the scholarship, or should I call the schools to find out?
 
The email I got was not official, it was just one of the cadre congratulating me. I think the official letters should be in the mail soon!
 
Hey I had my interview Feb. 2 for ARMY ROTC and I dont know if it made it to the Feb review board, but my status still says I am waiting for an interview, and was just wondering if I would have gotten a scholarship offer for Feb, i guess i would have already found out, or is there still a chance?

I got 4 year scholarship to UVA!!! Official letters came in the mail today and status online changed yesterday. Does anyone know if UVA covers room and board for NROTC scholarship dudes and girls?
 
So if it says

"Check your medical status on the DODMERB website"

That means I have been awarded the scholarship???

A PMS from my #2 school has also emailed me congratulating me!

Is this too good to be true?! :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
 
Congratulations, rotcapplicant! Those two things do mean you have been awarded a scholarship! It will show up on your status page in a few days and you will be receiving something in the mail, too. My son found out he had been awarded a scholarship the same way by a PMS from a school on his list calling to congratulate him.

The Professors of Military Science are not required to notify you that you won a scholarship, just many do. Cadet Command is the official notifying authority. You can call any of the PMS from your schools and ask if they have received word.
