I have questions regarding my medical status. My situation is that I was found qualified by dodmerb and have received an appointment to the USNA class of 2017, but when I decided late in the game to apply to the Air force academy as well dodmerb requested a continued health questionnaire because I began my USAFA application outside the time limit that an initial dodmerb exam covers. I had a stress fracture almost a year ago from today that I mentioned in my continued health questionnaire in my right tibia that I completely healed from in about 6 weeks. This fracture occurred after my initial examination so it was obviously not included then. Dodmerb now tells me that I am no longer qualified for USNA or USAFA (not yet disqualified just not qualified), and my records regarding the stress must be reviewed by one of their doctors for me to be qualified again. Should I be concerned that something like this could revoke my appointment or should this be cleared by the dodmerb doctor with no issues. Has anyone had experience with this or a similar issue?
Thanks,
