My DS received his Letter of Regret from USMA two weeks ago. Well, on February, 6, 2017, my DS went into his portal just to see it again. When he did he happened to see a letter on pdf. The letter stated since he received a service connected ROTC Nomination he was still competing for a space in the class that will enter the summer of 2017.
We are confused now. Does this mean he is once again competing for an appointment to USMA ? Has anyone ever been in this situation before ?
When he initially received his Letter of Regret from USMA two weeks ago there was no other letter on file in his portal. This is why we ar confused. Is it a glitch in the system or is it real in the sense he is in the running in a smaller pool of candidates ?
