I heard a rumor that Beast is going to be a lot tougher this year because 5 WP graduates dropped out of Ranger School, saying that it was too hard and they didn't like being yelled at. Is there any truth to this?

Haha. Yep. Wanted some verification as to whether it were true. I assume you saw it too?

That story just sounds absolutely ridiculous...definitely not true.

While it is somewhat reasonable that 5 ex-cadets dropped out of Ranger School, it is highly doubtful. And even if they did drop, I GUARANTEE that A. Getting yelled at wasn't their problem and that B. Even if it was, they wouldn't openly admit it. Rumors are.....rumors.

Yeah, it sounds like someone made a joke poking fun at USMA grads and someone didn't get it was a joke.

    "psy-ops" perhaps?

When I attended ROTC Summer Camp at Fort Bragg many, many years ago, there were all sorts of stories about what would happen during the Recondo week. Yes, a few people couldn't handle the tales being told. The reality was a lot easier to deal with.
