I am confused on how I am supposed to submit my SAT and ACT scores for my application. I can access my scores on the SAT and ACT websites but I don't know where to submit them on the application portal. Also I read that West point has like college codes for the tests but I don't understand what they are for.

You have the College Board send the scores to USMA and other colleges.

If you haven’t read every page, menu item and link on USMA.edu, I recommend it. That is your primary source, and most answers are there.

So basically, to send test scores to the academies, you have to pay a fee?
You may be able to check with your high school guidance counselor for a fee waiver. Most counselors have a few to dispense as needed. It can cover the cost of the test itself and typically (if memory serves) a few score sends.

It stinks, but yes, you do have to pay for the scores to be sent unless you have the fee waiver.

You can have them sent at no cost if you list the college or SA code when you register to take the test. But that is a gamble, as you won't know if you killed it or bombed it, and they will get the scores either way.

For us, DS had a fee waiver for a test and 3 score sends. The rest we paid for after he saw his scores and felt they were worth submitting.
