    Hi everybody,

Many people, including myself, received their SAT / SAT Subject Test scores a few days ago. I took the Math 1 and Math 2 subject tests. Should I report these scores to USNA? Do they care about subject tests or just about the standard SAT?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

    Hey Tyler,

As far as I know, the Subject Tests don't really matter much to USNA, even SAT Writing doesn't matter. They only record the SAT "Verbal" and SAT Math scores. If for any reason your scores in Math are low, and your Math 1 and Math 2 subject tests are much better, I'm sure retaking the SAT with an emphasis on Math so that score can get super-scored would maybe be your best option. If your SAT Math is already good, and your subject Math tests just prove that you are doing great in math, that would be something great to bring up to your BGO when you have the opportunity to, I'm sure they will make a note of it.

Okay, thanks! I'll mention my scores to my BGO.
