Hey all,
last week, I decided I wanted to change my first choice school from the University of Colorado Boulder, to the University of Washington in Seattle. Having decided this, I went ahead and sent the email to pensacola requesting the change, and it was reflected on Monday on my portal, however I never got a written response confirming the change.
It has just occurred to me, that on the written remarks regarding your school choices, I had written about why CU Boulder was my first choice, and that I already had been accepted into their Physics program, and have a deferred admission for my gap year. So, question 1 is, how much do you think this will affect me? Surely the board must realize that top school choices change, otherwise we wouldn't be allowed to do it. But there is no place to change the written remarks section for that.
My recruiter informed me that standard protocol is that the board will release my application, and then I have to resubmit it, which would be awful because the next board is on February 9th, and I wouldn't want my application not seen for this board! (note that it's been in for a while, so I'm wondering if since I may have to resubmit it (something that I've never heard of before) that the process has to start all over) Whats makes this even sillier, is that I didn't even take any school off of my original list and replace them with new ones, I just moved UW up and the rest down. I hope I haven't ruined this for myself, does anybody have any thoughts?
