Schools Attended While In AFROTC

Hey everyone,

I am a senior in AFROTC, and I will commission very soon. I was talking to the Commandant of my Detachment, and he told me that military schools attended during Air Force ROTC do not carry over to active duty. I attended Army Air Assault School this past summer, so I am concerned this won't stay on my record when I go active. He's also a brand new cadre member, so I don't know if he's fully learned the system yet. Can anyone who know this for certain verify it?

You completed the school and have orders awarding you the Air Assault badge right? If so then yes it will be on your record. I know for AROTC any military school attended is the same as if you attended it on Active Duty.
 
Bullet (my DH) said BS! You won a badge and earned a rating, thus they can't take it away from you.

Maybe he just meant it about how much it will impact your AF career from an AFSC perspective.
