Awww. I'll miss him. At least I'll still have his "R. Lee Ermey's Official Soundboard" app on my phone. Many of the clips are quotes from some of the more outrageous scenes in "Full Metal Jacket".
 
I met him at a recent convention. Nice guy.
 
He always had a great sense of humor. Played great parts in all his movies. RIP Gunny and guard those streets well.
 
Oh no - I saw him at Modern Day Marine at Quantico last fall, at the Marine Corps Assn Booth. Never refused a request for a selfie with any Marine, even re-created his famous movie poses

The same when he used to appear at AUSA in DC.
