I called one of my senator's offices yesterday to verify my packet made it safely. It did, but she told me I was missing LORs from a teacher and non-relative. Got the reminder letter today in the mail.

Here's the thing: I sent my app in with everything together. They apparently received the LOR from my counselor, but didn't get the ones from my teacher and non-relative, of which was in front and behind the LOR from my counselor.

Is this a test to see how fast I can correct a paperwork problem? That's how I'm looking at this.

How can they get the "middle" LOR and not the other two? Hmm..

Welcome to the political arena, where there are tons of hands in the pot. It is not a test. What probably happened was this:

Receptionists opens it, and places it in the correct file, that could be letter, MOC or SA. The next person takes it and reviews it to pass on to their final destination the committee person. Meanwhile, somewhere in the sorting your LORS got misplaced, and probably another kid has 4 LORS

Just have it resent.

For the future do what we did, we copied everything and created a folder, so when a mistake occurred we could easily fax it. We also paid for additional sealed transcripts, for the JIC situation.

I think God plays little jokes, when you do what we did you never need it, when you don't you will be the one running around

I have all the originals in a nice manila folder in my filing cabinet, labeled "USAFA"

I'll have it sent out Monday.

I have a question in regards to these nominations: it says that I have to submit my ACT/SAT scores; can these be listed on my transcript or should I have them submitted seperately?

Our son's were on his official transcript with school seal so that is all we sent to MOC. However, for USAFA, he coded them to get scores from SAT/ACT when he took the tests.

I suggest you have them sent from the testing organization. While it may be on your transcript, your MOC may prefer it from the testing organization directly. Our MOC office requests specifically that they get it directly from the testing agency, even if it is on the transcript. You can always call the MOC and ask .....

The best thing is to call. Fortunately for me, my MOCs only wanted a copy of mine.

Dole and Burr wanted it from collegeboard. The big hint is if they give you their code. Yes, senators have the same type of code that universities have. Our MOC accepted the sealed transcript. Best suggestion is if in doubt call.
