I will probably need to complete the sf86 form in order to get a security clearance.
I've been looking through a copy of the form online, and I had noticed this in section 22 (page 95):
"Is there currently a domestic violence protective order or restraining order issued against you?"
Some years back I had repeatedly come to a women's clothing store over some days and was a bit nervous about asking for help. They called the police to escort me out and filed a no trespass order, stating that I had not bought anything and that they thought I had acted suspiciously. This happened in about May 2009.
Do I have to list a no trespass order for this section? My understanding is that both restraining orders and no trespass orders are injunctions, but they are not the same thing. Also, this is not domestic violence, which seems to be the main intent of this form section.
