Shadowing/Internships?

I am a current knob at The Citadel on a 4-year AROTC (AD) scholarship. Does AROTC offer any type of internships or shadowing opportunities for their cadets? I am interested in the medical field. I plan on doing shadowing over the summer at a local university, but I am interested to see if the Army has some sort of program.

What did your CoC say? If AROTC doesn't perhaps the Citadel does? I would expect them to know in either case.

Don't limit yourself to Army sponsored internships. Don't limit yourself to "medical" related internships. Good internships are too competitive to be too choosy. Start with ALL of your STEM professors for suggestions. DS#2 (non-military) had two separate NASA internships and in both there was at least one Cadet/Mid. I would give you some links but all that is all in the rearview mirror. Start with National Institutes of Health, CDC, FDA, EPA, National Science Foundation, individual National Labs and go from there.

Plan to spend Christmas vacation polishing up your resume filling out applications.
