So I have an LOA and a nomination and waiting for my appointment letter. Tomorrow I am going to my dentist to check out my tmj and for feedback on gum grafting surgery (my gums receded on some teeth). Nothing too serious but I'm not sure if I should send paperwork to navy or dodmerb as I'm already accepted to the academy. I don't want to have to go through the hassle of waivers if usna medical department can handle it.

(My friend and I have talked to Mr. Mullen but I am referring to from this point on)

I believe your BFE (appointment packet) will have instructions on who to notify if your medical situation changes after you were qualified thru DODMERB and appointed. Based on these instructions, I would send all info to this address. If I remember correctly it is Navy Medical not DoDMERB. I would not have ANY surgery until after you have your BFE with the above instructions/contact info, and have the surgery approved through them.
