Hello everyone! I am wondering if I should do the candidate questionnaire now or after I finish my junior year? I have a lot of extra-cirrikculars/ sports/awards that I haven't attained yet in which I hopefully will by the end of Junior year. Thus, I can't mark them down on the application. However, I did hear that it is better if you apply early. Any insight would be appreciated!

You can always update your application as those extracurriculars and awards are earned. I personally would say that if you can submit a questionnaire now, it cannot hurt. As I understand it, this is screening in terms of baseline age, GPA, and test scores. Do you have standardized test scores yet?

I took the SAT uin DEC and it wasn't great (I didn't study!) However I plan on taking it in March (I am studying) ! Thanks!

I'd suggest doing the questionnaire immediately and updating as you go. My DS (granted is only a sample size of one) I believe was at least partially awarded his appointment because he stayed on top of the process and got things done and updated as soon as humanly possible. When it comes to average test scores (he took the SAT 3 times and the ACT 3 times - superscoring was his savior), CFA scores and sport achievement, my DS barely eclipsed the lowest thresholds on the reported bands of excellence for consideration. I will always believe an advantage he created for himself is that he got sh*t done and happened to be sitting there fully qualified when it came time to start filling seats. If he waited longer, he may have adversely suffered by comparison to the throng of applicants who may look better on paper but waited to start their process of applying.
