Slight Worry

Ok guys this is just me worrying about small things, but I need some re-affirming. I just finished my first test for University Physics. I completely underestimated the difficulty of the material, and I feel like I left a lot of points on the table. I know I will improve, but how big of a hit will I take in the eyes of the admissions team if I don't pull an A in this class? My current GPA is 3.9. I am a Sophomore, Mechanical Engineering major.

OK if you get a B. A grade of C won't help and could hurt.
