Does USMMA have to declare snow days often being in the northeast? How often does it happen and what happens if a professor cannot make it to kp from thier home?

It is very rare that KP will close for snow given that all of the students live very close to the classrooms. If you have never lived in the northeast you cannot imagine how fast the roads are cleared compared to what happens in the southern regions. If for some reason a professor couldn't make it they could cancel the class and make it up at some other time if needed.

I think the only time I had classes canceled was when a freaking hurricane came through (at least it felt like a hurricane, can't remember if it was still one when it got to us though).

During the last 3.5 years, I saw KP close down once due to a blizzard in 05. It was 20+ inches of snow with blizzard conditions. Not too many of those type storms.... so Toddman... no snow days for you. :shake:

thanks. I live in FairField County Connecticut and I know that a proffesor lives in my town. THe Roads do not get cleared as fast here as most people think.
