So, what does the envelope look like and does it really come by Dec 24th?

I'm wondering if I can stand the wait... ! We were SO excited when the AIM envelope came... the neighbors heard us laughing, shouting, and celebrating that day!

Yes, it really comes before Dec 24th (last year they arrived on Dec 14th).

It's a large (9x12) white paperboard envelope.

Stay away from ceiling fans when opening.

Oh, yeah, those ceiling fans pop a punch! Did you know that

a ceiling fan can hit a baseball through a window and also that it can scalp a full grown adult man?

Don't ask me how I know.

There is also a cool picture of the Eagle along with your appointment.

Yes, but that white "leather-bound" appointment folder with the USCGC Eagle picture on one side doesn't come until much later, mid-April last year.
