The CGA is enjoying some success this weekend on the sports front.

The hockey team has advanced to the finals of their league and will play in the championship game today at Bates College. This is a club sport but has a lot of support at the school.

The men's swimming team is leading going into the last day of the NEWMAC championships where they are the defending champion.

The track team had a good weekend at the New Englands with Mike Flint the winner of the mile.

The men's basketball team has made it to the league championship for the first time in school history. They recorded two upsets in the early rounds to advance to the finals against WPI today.

And best of all tonight is the crew "Return to the River" dinner indicating it's time for the spring season to begin!:thumb:

This was a hard-luck but scrappy team all year. They lost a lot of very close games but came up big when it counted.

Also this weekend the men's swim team won their tournament. Unfortunately the hockey team lost in OT but had a great year.

The basketball team opens NCAA play against Rhode Island College on Thursday. GO BEARS!

Congrats to the B-ball team. I'm expecting records to be broken by the crew team this year as well by golly. Scrappy puddle pirates. :thumb:
