My son texted me this morning to let me know that he had spoken with the BGO he interviewed with last year, and they are going to assign him a different one for this cycle.
For the resident BGOs here, is that typical? He said it was because they don't want to have the same interview. Does that make sense, and is it common practice??
I know he will be fine either way, but I was just curious as to what is the standard procedure.
(On another note, one of his nomination apps is due by COB today, but he is still waiting on one of the recommendation letters and having a hard time reaching the person. Supposedly she got back to him and will try to get it done, but it appears it is going to be another nail biter situation ........)
