I’m not the type to check DD2’s portal for updates but as it is the time of year for nominations to arrive I thought today might be a good day to give it a peak. Well, wouldn’t you know it -a nomination has arrived-and DM knows, DD1 at the academy knows, and the service academy knows-but DD2 has not seen it.
DD2 has a LOA. She has dutifully continued to fill out the college applications in case something should happen to go terribly wrong (her heart is really not in it.) She knows how many days until plebe summer (203 days) and has started running to get in shape; not for the Spring track season but for Plebe summer.
I guess we just have to sit around until she trips over the nomination on her portal or a senator phones. I know she reads the Service Academy Forum so it will be entertaining if she learns of the nomination from the forum.
