To my knowledge, the SRAR is not in place of an official transcript - although you need your transcript to complete it. They even state that you should list the class exactly as it is on your transcript. It is a platform for students to self report - maybe this will be what they use in the future. Not sure at this point as not all colleges use it. You can enter middle school courses taken that you get high school credit for - that could be beneficial to some students. Many schools are testing out at this point and some don't use at all - depends on the school. This could be a "leveling" field for all schools as different high schools report different items on their transcripts.
