Cunning is the first word that comes to mind with Vlad. He's been practicing a lifetime, climbing the ranks of the KGB, and then the political ladder of Russia. This fiasco seems to be worst miscalculation he's ever made. He just may be old enough to have underestimated the globally connected modern world.

I will certainly agree about one thing.

When a US senator is on a video call with other senators and the leader of Ukraine and are asked not to release any pictures of the call for safety reasons and they ignore that request …..

Releasing pictures or info from the call they were told could put the Ukraine leader at risk.

Two decided to ignore the request and released the pictures anyway.

If you want to complain about two who put their own blabbering above the lives of others who are at significant risk then decide whether they should remain serving in the US senate.

And if not then blabbering is not such a big deal.

One of the senators claims that the request to wait was made 30 mins into the meeting, and the pictures were released prior to the request. That's either the truth or a lie. I'm sure it will be verified soon enough.

So borderline treason or just so important to get those pictures out at once, that it had to be done , while a sensitive briefing , with a man being hunted to be killed by professional killers, was ongoing?

These are people who US intel people should be very careful about what they hear and who they can talk to In the future.

Concur. Same as that Fox Anchor and the former Strongman (madman P’s lover) responsible for 6th Jan Insurrection.
 
A bad combination, when you are releasing sensitive pictures, of a man being hunted by professional Russian killers , during a sensitive briefing with the man, while the briefing is ongoing and has hardly started, when your nick name prior to the invasion started with the word ——Kremlin .

When people have already been critical of your prior Putin support.

Grandstanding by politicians and former officials trying to whitewash their past statements is nothing new.

Injecting Jan 6 into the discussion of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is as counterproductive as injecting the "rigged" election into it.
 
Lockdown coming. No need to talk about how we got here. But we need to talk about where we’re going.
 
Curious as to how Putin will perceive Poland gifting/selling soviet era planes to Ukraine (assuming that deal happens).
Will he see it as NATO being involved first hand?
