Status Incomplete?

I recently finished all of my checklist items in my USNA portal except DoDMERB which is pending. I have my nominations in and CFA is qualified, but why does it say Status: Incomplete? Am I missing something? I heard that some portals will say that it's ready to be reviewed or something along the lines of that.
Anyone have any pointers as to why it says my app is incomplete?

Perhaps bc of the ‘recently finished’ part of your post? Give it all a bit to process through and update.

And ‘compete pending review’ is what you will see. You can see this status without the DODMERB checkmark.

Mine is the same, I have everything except DoDMERB checked off, and my admission officer says my portal is complete, but on my end it still says incomplete.
 
DS' says the same. There's not a date entered for BGO Interview or received by USNA but it's checked off as complete. DoDMERB has an X but the exams have been scheduled for a while now, eye one is done. He wrote to admissions and they said it was fine just "hasn't been reviewed yet." Trying to have faith that's all it is but certainly nerve-racking having it say incomplete as 1/31 looms 😬

The Admissions Board is NOT promising to review everyone by 31 Jan nor is it critical to be reviewed by then. That is just the cut-off date for applications to be in and due date for MOC noms. Lots more reviewing to be done in the next months after Jan.

Makes sense and I can't even imagine how busy they are right now! His AD dad is the nervous one when it comes to trust, but verify lol. As long as he's done his part, we know how to hurry up and wait! Two nom sources secure, AP Calc grade is on the up and up before the semester ends, medical issues resolved - time to take a breath!

Are the SAT/ACT scores in? my DD showed incomplete until scores were received

They can review your record anytime they wish without having medical or noms or CFA complete - think about it - otherwise, how could they offer LOAs with conditions to fulfill way back in the early fall?

And, your candidate-facing portal may not be as updated as everything they can see in their view.

At some point, you will get the Complete Pending Review, unless you have a medical or other issue, and you’ll quite possibly be CPR into April.

Be patient. Admissions will work their way through each application and update the portal as they can.

Personally, I am envisioning a hive of hard-working admissions folks plowing through applications and preparing those files for the admissions board. If I were applying, I would rather they be doing that, than updating my portal.

If you have submitted everything in a timely fashion, all you can do is wait. It's out of your control.
 
Mine says complete pending review as well. I have everything in except for my Dodmerb exams which are scheduled for this week. Two questions,
1. I am off of my weight by 6 pounds, will this take longer to process?
2. How long does it take for USNA admissions to receive my Dodmerb status once the exams are completed? I want to make sure I am not pushing it out more and more. These were the soonest appointments I could get even when calling in early December because Dodmerb as a system was shut down for so long.

so i was over the weight for usafa, what they do is normally once the academy recieves qualified exam papers, they’ll send you a form for you to go to your dr and get taped. it’s basically a way to measure body fat percentage and you have to pass that basically.

Ohhhhh okay that makes more sense. I was super worried because I thought that it would putoff my application even farther. Have you received your appointment yet?

no i’m a 3x reapplicant for usna, i have my dodmerb medical exam in a month. i just had that happen with me last year so i figured i’d pop in and help!
 
Application status has been incomplete since November 29th. Turned in Candidate Kit on that date. All check marks in the portal since 1/27. The Status still says incomplete. The process tests you like no other it seems.
