Submitting Application

So, I'm not sure if anyone actually answered your question wrt to waiting to submit your application. I would submit as much of the application now as possible, each section is submitted independently, but they won't review your application until it is all in. SO, IF you think you can greatly improve your CFA scores, especially if you aren't currently scoring near the max range in each event on practice tests, then it doesn't hurt to wait on that part, train for the CFA specifically, and take the test when you feel you've made the needed improvements, then submit your scores. That said, if track and field starts up soon, and there is a chance of injury before you ever take the CFA, you are in a bind.

As others have said, do some self study with Khan Academy or EKnowledge Prep and get those test scores up! If you are mainly interested in USNA, focus on the Math and English portion of the ACT. Also, make sure your BGO and Nominating sources know you are interested and willing to accept a Prep School appointment.

Nobody here can tell you your chances, especially not knowing what district you are in. We can only tell you what we tell all applicants: make sure you are familiar with the class demographics of previous classes so you personally have a realistic idea of where you stand, submit your best application possible, wow your nomination sources and BGO during your interviews, have a great plan B and C, and hope for the best! Don't be discouraged by negative comments because everyone's path to a service academy and/or military service is different. As others have said, the ONLY ones we can 100% predict will not get in are the ones that never submit their applications.

I think with the SAT scores, ALL of your results are sent each time, you cannot cherry pick one test date. That is fine for super-scoring, but they will see you have taken it 8 times (heh) I am going to jump out on a limb and say that too many attempts would look like you have too much time on your hands and/or your 'test prep' is ineffective???

SAT scores are sent separately for each test date. Hence, you can choose which scores you would like to send.

Thank you all to those who have answered my questions. I have finished all other parts of my application and been medically cleared. I have a JROTC Nom to USAFA right now and a MOC interview in two weeks. I believe I will wait till mid November to do my CFA again and aim for close to Max scores before submitting it as it is the last part of my Application.
In addition I qualify for the presidential nomination for all academies. I’m also applying to USAFA, USMA and USCGA. I an working on an Army ROTC and Navy ROTC app right now.
My plan A of course is a Service academy or Prep School which of course I let my BGO know I was definitely interested in the prep school.
My plan B I’m applying to AROTC and NROTC and will attend a college that offers it
Finally my Plan C is to enlist and work toward the academy pathway again.
