Don't lose hope, my DD, now USNA '19 applied for NASS the very last day possible (I believe it was the end of March) and was still selected to attend.
I found out yesterday I was accepted to NASS session 2. From what I understand you'll receive notification no later than may 1st.(Since the acceptances are coming out now....) So I have applied to USNA NASS in addition to SLE program offered by USMA, but I haven't got any notification from USNA yet... Is USNA still in process of sending out acceptances? Or.. is it already over...?
Thank you so much!
I didn't get a phone call, but I have gotten several emails encouraging me to sign up for NASS. I think they just send them out to all rising seniors on their mailing list. They probably don't cross check who has applied and who hasn't with their mailing list. I still haven't gotten any word back on my application. A phone call or email to admissions probably wouldn't hurt though.I got a call from the Naval Academy admissions and asked me if I applied to the summer seminar. I informed them and they thanked me for the time. Did my application get mixed up? I have not heard from NASS yet but did get a spot with USAFA. Any insight would be appreciated.
There was a note on another thread that said that updates are not accepted for NASS. You may want to check the website. I think it is specifically stated there.I’m guessing emails weren’t sent out this tuesday? Hopefully they’ll be out tomorrow (today). Also does anyone know if there’s a way to update your application? I sent an email to admissions but i wasn’t sure if they’d be able to update my application because i don’t have a candidate id or anything.

tsI applied on March 7th, any idea of when I should hear back?
DS is in NASS 1 then SLE 2! We are from Fl 8.. are you going to drive your DS from Annapolis to West Point? We are dropping my DS to Annapolis then to West Point. But he have to fly from WP, Newark airport to Orlando. He has boy state leaving midnight the next day.I’m currently in the same situation trying to move into NASS Session 3 instead of Session 1, but the admissions council has not yet responded. I’m not sure if I should give calling a try. If you do choose to call and receive a response, please let me know.
Called today and now my DS is in NASS 1st session and SLE 2nd. Was taken care of with a phone call.
Web says applicants will be notified by April 15th

If the west point SLE asks for confirmation by April 10th, what should we do if we haven't heard back from Navy?
Should I just call admissions and ask them to accelerate my stuff?

Not sure if you are being tongue in cheek but, if not, I would suggest that you be very careful if you place a call to USNA Admissions. There are multiple applicants for each available SLE slot (with a well-established process) and you should take care not to burn any bridges at this point of the USNA application process... IMHO...

Ive already gotten into the SLE program. Im just waiting to hear back from navy. Id hate to confirm my offer to west point but end up getting into Navy. To be extremely clear Id really prefer navy. But I also understand that any Service Academy experience is better than none. So what should I do to hear back from Navy?
I heard that the WP SLE week is excellent (and some report - preferable to NASS). Have a great time and take opportunity in hand.Web says applicants will be notified by April 15th
