Summer Seminar Packing Question

To previous attendees: does my son need to bring sheets and a blanket? I’m not seeing it on the list, but may be missing it. He needed them for NASS and SLE, but maybe not for Air Force?

No, sheets and a blanket will be provided. However, this year they stopped providing athletic shorts so bring a few pairs. Have fun!

Lucky! Navy does not provide them. The bedding takes up a ton of space!

My DS attended summer seminar 2 years ago. They gave them a thin sleeping bag to use. He still has it to this day and took it with him to his trip to Spain. Said it came in handy.

They come back with a lot of swag. So you can send an old set of sheets, then have your kid ditch them to make room for all the new stuff they pick up. Keeps the packing relatively light and compact. You don’t want them dragging a big bag or suitcase around when they report.
