Very excited to receive notice this morning that my USCGA conditionally appointed daughter's medical waiver denial was reversed and they are now recommending that a temporary waiver be granted. We understand that temporary does not mean permanent, but does it mean she will be allowed to enter the Academy on R-Day where they will see with their own eyes that she is 100% physically fit for duty, or is it more like just an official extension of the June 1 deadline for receiving medical clearance, but that will still have to be made permanent before R-Day?
