Hello, I am currently applying to the United States Military Academy (GO ARMY), for the class of 2024. My file was just completed today (as my transcript for the first semester of senior year had to be sent). Will I be able to know if I had been admitted into the academy soon? Or would I have to wait for a considerable amount of time?

Do you have green check marks next to all admissions requests, no red Xs?

Have you received a LOE or LOA? Many people who have received either just received notice today that they were accepted.

It truly depends on how competitive of a candidate you are and where you are on the NWL tbh. But, don't give up! Appointments are sent till 1. May and sometimes even afterwards.

I wonder if the entire first wave portals are updated currently or if more will come tonight or tomorrow?

Fingers crossed there's more to come. If not then the hopefully the wait won't be too too long.

I've had all A's most my high school career, a 31 ACT, was a varsity wrestler, on the track team, a volunteer firefighter and received multiple state awards in the Russian language. Does this affect the likelihood that I'd be accepted earlier?

those are very good stats so i believe you should be higher up on the NWL. if you received a pnom then you are almost guaranteed an appointment. otherwise, it is unclear. do you have backup schools in mind just in case? as many schools require a deposit by a certain date.

I have received a nomination, and I do indeed have backup schools in case I'm not appointed.

also, how were your CFA scores? sometimes that could be a tiebreaker.
While I don't remember my exact scores for every test I got about
Average on the pull ups (I believe 9)
Around average on the push ups (50)
Below average on the b-ball throw (54)
Max on sit ups
Average on shuttle (9.1)
and around 7 min on the mile (which I'm still beating myself up over, didn't expect to do that bad on it)

You seem to be doing well in the academic and leadership aspect. Your physical fitness is where I would worry as if you are only scoring average or below in most aspects, even if accepted, you MUST work on your fitness if you want to do well at BEAST. But, overall you seem fine and hold a good chance. I would say keep working out and all you can do is wait for now.
