Just got rejected from USAFA. This is a hard one to take, but thanks for everyone for your support and help throughout this process.

Received TWE this morning. Firm believer that I will be where I am supposed to be. Good luck to everyone out there in the class of 2023 and to those who are in this same boat, keep pushing on! This will be a great lesson that we will reflect upon - when we face defeat, it shows us how bad we really want something.
I also want to give this community a huge thank you. The information I've gathered from this forum alone has helped in so many ways. You guys are awesome!

EagleLegion14 so sorry to hear that ! DS in same boat reapplicant haven’t heard from him this AM but I’m guessing TWE in mail . You worked so hard , I don’t understand . They say the academy favors reapplicants but I’m really doubting that now . I hope you have a plan B that you will be happy with !
Hoping your son is still in the run if he did not hear this morning....I will be sending positive thoughts for a great outcome!!!

Thanks jeng ! Just heard from him his portal updated to non- select . Oh heartbreaking past several years . Did everything possible . Well after rightfully mourning for a week time to focus on Plan B !

Just received my TWE as well. Like others I’m disappointed. Thought I had a pretty good shot after receiving multiple congressional nominations and going to summer session. But there were a bunch of other great candidates from the State of Texas that applied as well. My Plan B, attend USMMA where I have choice of which branch of service I can attend as an officer as well as flight programs... So USAF is still an option. Good luck all. Look forward to serving with you in the future as you work your plan B’s. Chase your dreams and never give up!

As far as I know my DS has NOT received a TWE. He has made this his own from the beginning, so I try not to pry. I have not heard yet if he has checked his portal. And I don't dare ask him to based on all these TWE's. My stomach is turning for him.
