I'll be away all day, and unable to check in, so I wanted to send good vibes out there to all who wait. Can't wait to check in tonight and hopefully see the posts about good news in the mailbox for SOMEONE, ANYONE on this forum! :thumb::thumb:
 
Another day with no news here:frown: My son's status hasn't changed on Dodmerb since Feb. 23rd. Starting to get discouraged. But, I noticed that Objee says that AIM applications will be reviewed starting next week. I hope this means that appointment decisions are made and that we'll all hear something very soon :cool:

We should be finished reviewing all Early Action deferrals by Wednesday, but Regular Admissions reviews will not conclude until the first week in April. So all EA deferrals will most likely receive their notification by April 1st, but the majority of RA applicants will not receive their notification until April 15th.

Thanks so much for posting the update!!...we fall in the "waiting until April 15th" category. Hope you all have a way of holding open some spaces--or does it get harder and harder to make the "cut?"
 
that is good news. were the EA people looked at for CGAS slot? i only ask because i told LTJG Parker when i had my interview that i wouldnt mind getting that if i donbt get an appointment

Yeah Avery Joyce was EA and got CGAS offer.. Lindsay told me she also received a package yesterday for CGAS.
 
that is good news. so there is always a chance for me! lol
 
Letter dated Mar 16

Received an outstanding offer for the USCGA Scholarship Prep Program
CGA pays all Tuition & R&B. They will pick between NMMI or MMI.
Must reply back by April 6th. Now decision time.

at this point.... i just wish they would sent me a letter. whether it is an acceptance or not i need some kind word. two other colleges are gently nudging me to remind me that they have accepted me and would like a reply. who would have thought as a 17 year old i would be making this big of a decision? haha
 
Hey jt0819, I understand. My son has some scholarships to

accept or decline by April 1. At least one of them will already not go to anyone else because he would have had to have been accepted by the Academy at EA for it to go to another student.

Check to see if your "spot" is secure at the other colleges... pay your deposit or whatever you need to do.

I think a lot of folks are in your same situation... and the admissions folks are accustomed to it.

You must be a very desired student to have the "gentle nudges" coming your way!
