Hi,
I'm reporting on July 10th for the class of 2024 and I'm so excited! I've already got my bag packed, and I believe I've got everything I need. However, to anyone who has been through at least one year at the academy: What toiletries did you bring with you to INDOC, and what, if anything, did you not bring that you wish you had? Thanks!
 
My DD brought shampoo, conditioner, and soap which was really all she needed. She only brought enough for INDOC. She wishes she brought more than the travel size she did because when she went to get more after INDOC, the NEX was sold out for a couple weeks.
 
Obviously I should also have included toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream, and feminine hygiene products. You should bring enough for a couple weeks past INDOC because of possible NEX supply issues. The alternative would be a carefully timed care package to coincide with the end of INDOC.
 
I asked my Mid....

For guys, bodywash (you don't have hair, so no shampoo needed), non electric toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, Gold Bond Stick (looks like deodorant), good sunscreen (the spray is faster to apply), some aloe, mole skin, Vaseline or chapstick (your preference), and 20 pack of band aids.

They give you gold bond powder, sunscreen (my Mid ran out), bug spray, bars of Dove soap, and chapstick.
