Traffic/Moving Violation

I committed a traffic/moving violation a few months ago in the Summer. Basically, I was stopped at a red light where the path was split, and I thought it already indicated that I was turning right, so I did not put on the signal. That I realized is my fault because I should always put on a signal whence turning. At the same turn, I received a traffic violation because it was a red light and I forgot that there was not a "no turn on red" sign, so I ended up waiting a few more seconds than I needed to make that turn. Thus, I received a delaying traffic violation. Should I report these to all the Service Academies I am applying to?

Have you already applied? If not, each app will have a section that will explain what they are expecting for disclosure.

If you have applied already, confirm with your AO, ALO, RC, etc. if you need to update Admissions.

I've already included it in my USAFA application and I will need to update it to my USMA application after submission. I have yet to include it on my USNA application which I still have to submit.

Do you know how much of an effect it will have on my admission?
They're only minor traffic violations in one simultaneous scenario. I will explain it accurately and show how I learned from it.

You hit the nail on the head: disclose it and fully explain how you have learned from it.

Generally speaking and my $0.02, I very highly doubt a fully disclosed and "learned from it" minor traffic violation will have any impact at all.

If it a form or interviewer specifically asks about traffic violations disclose honestly. Otherwise don't worry about it. It is not criminal. If everyone I knew in ROTC or active duty got in trouble for a speeding ticket, manpower would be down significantly.

Will do. Thank you.
