Our high school is using a new platform to request transcripts and get them sent. We have had good success with all colleges and programs so far, but absolutely cannot get it to work for the Naval Academy. When we type in the name there are a few things with Navy in the name such as Navy Recruitment and Naval Postgraduate School but no United States Naval Academy. Any suggestions? Can my counselor just email them to admissions?

It amazes me how many folks don’t read the Admissions website.

Your high school counselor will have the opportunity to upload an official PDF copy of your transcript when they complete the Academic Information form. If your counselor is unable to upload the transcript, they should mail an official transcript to USNA.

Mailed transcripts should include your candidate number and be mailed to the following address:

Office of Admissions 52 King George Street Annapolis, MD 21402.

While many colleges and universities are fine with accepting transcripts through third-party services (like Parchment, Student Clearing House, etc.) the USNA will only accept transcripts directly from your school, either by electronic means (.PDF uploaded by your high school guidance counselor when they complete the Academic Information form) or by mail (identified by your name and candidate number) to:

Office of Admissions 52 King George Street Annapolis, MD 21402.

You really should at the very least, read every single drop-down menu on the USNA website and follow every step exactly.

Appreciate the information.... living in a rural area internet service is spotty at best. Managed to get to the FAQs on the main admission page (which did not address transcripts) when service became too slow to get any further. Drove into town to try and access more on my phone and it was pretty difficult to wade through it even then. School off for the week or would have been able to get better service on a computer and resolve it on my own. Not wanting to wait a week I reached out to the forum. Thank you for the information ... now I can hit the ground running on Monday when school opens back up.

Hey, I live in the middle of nowhere and our internet is spotty and intermittent on good days. Single digit speeds are the norm. I feel ya'. Glad you got it worked out, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Another option to check out is your local library if your town has one. They will typically have good WiFi to support your phone or laptop, or desktop stations you can use to access the internet. When I’m tired of working from home and need guaranteed peace and quiet, I often grab my laptop and find a comfortable corner of my local library to work. You can usually connect to the public printer and print for reasonable per-page fees.

Good job! Your Admissions Counselor, listed on your Candidate Portal under POC, can assist too. Mine did. They're a great resource and want to help you succeed.
