is wondering if this first Tuesday after the med waiver deadline is going to be week they come off NWL?

I was thinking the same thing. I figure it it's going to happen before May 1, then it will likely be today . . . .

The wait is one thing, I wish I would have known about, I never understood it before now, all I need is one spot though!

I heard nothing yet from the academy although my RC said its not looking good for an offer this year.

Are you on the NWL as well? And was that message directed directly to you or was he just saying that in general for those on the waitlist?

If your FFR was speaking specifically about your odds, I am sorry to hear that.

My FFR seemed to think it was quite the opposite. I don't know if he was referring to my odds or the chances of all candidates on the NWL, but he seemed optimistic. I am still on the NWL.

For what it is worth, the Cadets who do Sponsored Civil Prep at Marion Military Institute have a very high acceptance rate when reapplying. I'm sure all of the MJCs have great odds, I happen to know a little more about MMI and am admittedly biased toward it.....

My FFR is cautiously optimistic. Hoping for the best for all of us.

Good Morning All. Four years ago today the BFE arrived at our home. My firstie cadet had received no letters, no phone calls, no signs of life or interest from USMA. He had submitted his 7th semester transcript in late January and that had been the end of things--and in the meantime he had received 4 other school acceptances, an Army ROTC scholarship, and an appointment to another federal service academy, which he had accepted before the clock ran down (it was a lot of soul searching). If you are still waiting, it just means that you are still waiting. We know how sickening it can feel to still have the thing you really want hanging out there unknown. You are still 'Schroedinger's Candidate'--not knowing if it will be the BFE or the TWE, but if they did not want you for sure, you would have that TWE already. Hang in there. Keep Faith.

I heard from my counselor that they were recommending a grant on my waiver. I'm very cautious as to if this is true or not so I'm waiting for updates on my application. Has anyone else got anything?
