Just thought I’d share that I got my TWE this morning, wondering if there are many others who did as well as we are quickly approaching the deadline. FYI I will be applying next year again

Sorry to hear about your rejection for try #2. You have a lot of grit and strength for going through this process multiple times.

I have a lot of respect for you and the one thing that is certain is that if Navy hopefully decides to appoint you next year they will have a fantastic midshipman on board.

The one thing I will say for all others who may get a TWE is to make sure you find a Plan B that you genuinely like and not just that you believe it gives you the best opportunity to get in when/if you reapply. As competitiveness among congressional districts and the National Pool fluctuates every year, do not just go somewhere expecting that its a one and done deal but go somewhere that, should worst come to worst and you do not make it to the Academy, you will be perfectly happy being at said Plan B as well.
