TWE

@Dadx4 I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Our son's portal showed 2 new letters, one asking for transcript and one advising on national wait list as he is 3Q. I also see an envelope in informed delivery for our son today, and I am thinking it is the hard copy of one of those letters. So far any thing that showed in portal showed up snail mail within 3 days so my gut says she will be ok, and you will have good news. :)

Ha, I know! Oddly, our son's nom letter from his rep didn't even show up in informed delivery but it was in the mailbox!
 
Four years ago, the admissions department at USNA thought it was appropriate to send a slew of mailers announcing "Academy events" in our area around December.

Of course they came in thin white envelopes.

It was not amusing. :mad:
 
My DS also received a .50 TWE in the mail today. It ended up being an LOA (nothing in his portal). So, don’t give up hope...LOA’s are still being sent out. As stated above, it could be anything. If your DD is 3Qed, it is probably something other than a denial letter this early in the process. Good luck.
 
The "TWE" I received today was a just a physical copy of the 7th Semester Transcript request. There's probably no need to worry.
 
Just checked our mail and there is a TWE for our DS. DS is not home and I keep staring st the envelope with uncertainty.

I was in that state all day. It's a request for info or an LOA. D told me she got a "letter" about 7th semester transcripts awhile back but failed to mention "letter" was a portal update. So when TWE showed up today I thought it could only mean one thing...

S has kept us to update in the process. No mention of 7th semester grades. It’s probably a request for more info but the uncertainty is killing me.
 
Our son's TWE today was snail mail copy of transcript request. Hold on to your sanity folks, this is a bumpy ride. I think the forum technology help in so many ways but in others makes us want instant results. Clearly that isn't in the cards. Merry Christmas to everyone, let's enjoy this time with our kiddos. And have bacon and be grateful we have such amazing kids and a forum to get us through it all.
 
So happy that it was just a TWE request and not "the" TWE. Lots of TWE arriving in mailboxes lately and it seems most are benign. Interesting that there are LOA still arriving with January just around the corner. Fingers crossed for your DD. I am so relieved that we don't have informed delivery or I would be even more of a nervous wreck!
 
My DS got a request for his semester grades today. Not opened yet but I could see through enough to see that item had a check by it. May or may not have help envelop up to the light ..lol
