So this is an update from my previous post on the forum concerning my class choices for senior year. I have spoke to the assistant principal in charge and he says APs are full and I cannot change that, but im glad to say I tried and exhausted everything I can do.

Also as stated beforehand in the original thread, i had a rough start freshman year and that hurt my chances at getting to take another AP, especially like AP calculus (low 80s, high 70s geometry freshman year, but then a 100/A+ on both semesters of precalc junior year doesent persuade them enough to place me in AP calc i guess :/

The good thing is that I changed my public speaking english class to a honors college creative writing english class. Now, my schedule looks like:

- Honors Calculus
- Honors College Creative Writing
- AP Physics C - Mechanics (hardest physics class the school offers)
- Advanced Russian Language (hardest Foreign language class)
- Honors Career and Financial Management
- Honors Economics/government

I am also trying to balance this with a 1440 SAT (740 math, 700 verbal) so in my mind as long as i do well i will be fine.

Thank you for everyone that originally helped. If you have a comment or question, PLEASE let me know. I value what I learn on this forum a lot. :)

Thank you for being mature and thoughtful enough to follow up and inform folks here of the outcome. Sharing your experience benefits others who might be in the same boat.

It didn’t turn out perfectly, but you tried. That’s an important step for an aspiring officer. Now, make the best of your situation. As they say, control what you can. Best way to compensate for lack of AP courses, and to show you’re past your earlier struggles, is to score high on the SAT. Suggest you take it again and try to hit 1500 or higher. Best wishes to you.

You got great SAT's and if you can take college classes in place of AP, that might be a solution.
