I was just having a conversation about the differences in history and tradition between USAFA and USNA. I know there are plenty of retired AF on here, so I thought I'd ask. What are the major things in the history of USAFA? and what traditions has USAFA held of the past half century?

    Thanks,
    Geoff

from what i've heard from alot of officers here, the air force in general has a reputation for starting something new and calling it tradition. haha.. we've got plenty of traditions (at least that've survived for a few years) here, and i'll try to get back to you later on if i have some time and all the other cadets dont beat me to it :)

Although you don't want to be using wikipedia for any research papers , it's great for stuff like this! I found the folklore page especially interesting. I'm not sure how accurate it is. Maybe some current cadets or alumni could answer the question of accuracy.
