I haven't applied to USMMA. I looked on the website and applications are due in February.
 
USMMA Is an option many more should consider. The options are pretty much boundless. The academics are incredibly challenging considering sea year. It is a smaller community than the the other big Three SA’s. Year after year our DS attended service academy forums and the same wise officer, retired, made the case for the USMMA. He told us that consistently they had pilot slots unfilled.
Whether the graduate decides to go the civilian or military option, USMMA offers flexibility and financial options the others cannot.
Do your homework. Seek out alumnus.
@KPmom is a great resource. We are in landlocked AZ and the USMMA parent club put on one heck of a luncheon to expose applicants to the opportunities. Great network of alumnus willing to pay it forward.
