College reapplicant here. Just got a portal update notifying I am waitlisted for direct appointment to the academy as all slots are full. Accepted the waitlist slot and it says I should know by May 15th a final decision

Yes you do. For service academies it really doesn’t matter how much college you’ve done before. You start where everyone else does -a freshman. Although depending on how many college credits you have, you could get out of some classes.

I Have been at a 100% completed since October 11th. Hoping it changes soon. Good luck to all this week, is April 21st still the “hard date” that team blue/silver said? I know appointments waitlist FF and Prep offers still come after this date but we should at least hear something by the 21st correct?

I'm not sure anyone but admissions knows. I suspect that most will hear by the end of the week, but that there will be a small group who is kept hanging.

My understanding is that will also show up in the portal. Not necessarily a physical letter in the mail.
