I think it’s going to heavily depend on when people are medically qualified and the waivers given out. I’m still waiting too!

My son is 3Q'd and still waiting. Medical waiver granted mid Feb. Anyone else in that boat after today's wave? I'm assuming my DS may not be high enough in the "rack and stack" to have made it into today's wave, but no TWE yet, so still in the game!

Child Disabled Vet is a nomination that can be applied for just like Presidential. The Academy will know because it will be detailed in the application just like Children of Medal of Honor recipients.

Yes, I do know about the nomination. I was referring to the post about less than 100% disability rating being a factor for admissions.

My waiver was granted last week and I have nomination/3Q. No info yet so just waiting patiently.

Well I got a Falcon Foundation scholarship. Not the appointment I wanted but definitely something to be happy about. I’ll be accepting here soon. Does anyone know how likely it is I’ll get picked up before in-processing? Thanks.

DS received a Falcon Scholarship and then a Civil Prep Scholarship (USMA) on the same day. He has an AROTC 4-year Scholarship too, waiting on USNA...such hard choices to make. Can't imagine having to make this choice at 18 that will affect the rest of their lives--but excited for him.

From studying the charts that @AFrpaso produces (thanks!), it looks like there is usually one massive wave of appointments around mid March with a little uptick in advance of the big wave. Given the DoDMERB issues, I want to believe that the massive wave is still yet to come. Anyone else optimistically seeing it that way? I know it's not healthy to try to read into the patterns, and I know the Academy can do what it wants when it wants, but being a bit of a data cruncher and analyst, I couldn't resist pointing that out. Maybe there are a lot of appointments that came out today that still haven't been self reported, and maybe today WAS the big wave? 😓

I've been doing the same thing as you! However, I've seen that the 'big wave' in other years has brought the offer count up to around the 120-150 mark, yet the 2023 offer count (self reported) hasn't even broke 100 yet. Personally, I think there is a decent chance that another large wave is to come, unless all the forum users are dormant this year. One year, almost 50 offers came in on a 20-Mar wave!

But I digress. I agree with your mental decision to no longer read into patterns

I think someone thought it was a typo and corrected it, but it was right as my boys in Space Force ROTC.
